MC Oluomo Bows To Pressure, WithdrawsAnti-Igbo trouble

Musiliu Akinsanya, Lagos State Parks Management Committee Chairman also known as MC Oluomo, has withdrawn his trouble to Igbo residers in Lagos.
While addressing sympathizers of the ruling All Revolutionaries Congress( APC) at a meeting on Thursday, he'd hovered Igbos who would not bounce for the APC to stay off polling stations.

“ We've prayedthem.However, it isn't a fight, If they do n’t want to bounce for us. Tell them, Mama Chukwudi, if you do n’t want to bounce for us, sit down at home. Sit down at home, ” MC Oluomo had advised.

The statement had touched off a civil outrage, with numerous calling for his arrest.

FormerVice-President Atiku Abubakar had condemned the silence of President Muhammadu Buhari and the President- handpick, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu.

The Lagos State Commissioner of Police, CP Idowu Owohunwa, also ordered the Cybercrimes Unit of the Command to commence immediate and comprehensive disquisition into the incident.


Moments after the CP spoke on a TV programme, MC Oluomo released a videotape where he sued for peace.

“ Good autumn all my sisters and sisters. My name is Alhaji Musilu Ayinde Akinsanya, at the meeting I went to history, I was agitating with my family, Iya Chukwudi. I was pertaining to her that Iya Chukwudi, if you aren't advancing for me, sit down at home and the coming thing I saw was the videotape on social media.

“ People started to mention my name; please I'm always for peace; when you take a look at Lagos State there's peace; why will I say do n’t go out to bounce, if they do n’t come out to bounce, how will we get votes for APC to win? APC is my party; count me out of the talk going around, the person I was pertaining to in the videotape was in the meeting with me, that was why I snappily went to meet her that they said you shouldn't go out and Iya Chukwudi is then with me. ”

The woman who spoke in English and Igbo described MC Oluomo as a nice person, saying he purchases food particulars from her.

She said she was surprised that MC’s friendly badinage with her set up its way to social media.

The supporter of Asiwaju Bola Tinubu spoke further, saying,

“ I was only joking; I'm not hanging any Igbo person. Go and ask my Igbo people at Oshodi; go and probe there, they will tell you that I'm not hanging anybody may God guide us from people that don't love us authentically. ”

still, checks by Daily Trust showed that MC Oluomo truly hovered Igbos.

In a longer interpretation of the videotape which went viral on Thursday, he was heard saying Yorubas should get to the polling stations beforehand enough.

He also contended that ritual killings would be rampant if an Igbo man was allowed to govern Lagos. He said other mischievous effects.
